We’re revolutionizing the delivery of healthcare and we need a Senior Software Engineer to join us.
Design and develop scalable distributed systems supporting our Transportation & Healthcare SaaS applications
Work closely within a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop technical solutions that meet customer and business needs
Lead the engineering team with hands-on development and set technical and architectural direction
Guide and mentor team members, especially more junior developers via pairing, code reviews, etc.
Collaborate with other technology team members and leaders to refine best practices and processes
Contribute to a culture of automation that includes unit tests, regression tests, automated deployments, and continuous monitoring
Foster a process-oriented Software Development Life Cycle
Minimum 5 years experience developing SaaS applications and services in a distributed application
Demonstrated leadership experience
Command of an object-oriented language such as Ruby and its relevant design patterns
Avid practitioner of TDD/BDD
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
Deep understanding of writing and optimizing SQL
Fundamental understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals, like data structures and algorithms.
PREFERRED SKILLS: Ruby On Rails, Angular, Scrum, AWS, Docker, CircleCI
